I had been having pain on and off from Feb-Nov of that year. I didn’t realize how bad I had started limping. I quit college soccer in Sept when someone told me to “quit faking it” - I was heartbroken that someone thought I was faking my pain.
I kept working out and lifting weights…hoping to work through it.
The long & short I found out I was missing 90% of my femoral neck. They assumed it was cancer.

My surgery was considered “elective” so my surgeon had to submit multiple requests for me to find out if I had cancer or not.
