The Digger Family

HEY GUYS!!

How have you been??

I bring you something different today, hehe.

I've been working hard on No North's new issue! It's been a while since the last time I shared something such as concept art and sketches, but the reason is that I'm using all the time I can get to draw No North. Hopefully I'll be able to finish more pages than I did last year, that's my biggest goal!

And your support has truly meant everything to this project. I'll never be able to thank you enough for everything you all did (and ...

HOWDY Y'ALL?

Aaah I'm so excited we finally got to this scene!

A cool trivia: this was the very first scene I  thought of when I decided I needed to rewrite Up and Ahead back in 2016. I kind of focused on the feeling it gave me - two strangers riding on a cargo wagon, sharing a mixture of excitement over the unknown (Steban) and also a great discomfort ove...

And we continue on our adventure! Steban and Martin finally get a moment to breath - or at least Steban, because it looks like Martin is still about to get stressed xD

I would absolutely LOVE to hear your thoughts on this page! Seriously, reading your comments make my whole week!

EEEY GUYS!

How have you all been?

I bring you something very special today!

A bit late, but here's a New Year's gift for my biggest supporters of 2021! These guys have been with me for over 4 years! Can you believe this?? THIS IS AWESOME!!!

HAPPY 2022!

HAPPY NEW YEAR, GUYS!!!!

I hope you all had an amazing time with your friends and family last night!!!

I know 2021 wasn't much kinder than 2020 for many, but things are slowly getting better and I'm so hopeful that this whole situation is finally coming to an end.

I decided to make a little "comic script preview" like the ones I've been seeing on Deviantart! So here are a few lines you'll be reading in the second issue of No North 👀 what do you think they mean? Who do you think is saying them? ...

IT'S PAGE DAY!

And look, MARTIN ACTUALLY MADE IT!

With a little friendly push, of course. What are s̶t̶r̶a̶n̶g̶e̶r̶s̶ friends for? xD

I had a LOT of fun drawing that dramatic scream. I'm so excited to hear your thoughts on this page!

Merry Christmas!

HEEEY GUYS!

How have you all been??

YES, two posts on a single day! xD

Because today is Christmas Eve! I love this time of the year and I just had to draw something in order to celebrate it with you all!

I did this lil' painting while listening to my favourite Christmas song, which is Sleigh Ride
It's such a fun song and I couldn't take this scene out of my head while listening to it 😂 Martin is starting to regret co...

WE'RE BACK AT IT, BOYS!

How are you all doing??

After a whole month of art, No North is back right were we left it - in the middle of a train station, on the run from dangerous outlaws!

Way Out There

WOOW! Today is the last day of #nonorthvember 🎉🎉

WE MADE IT! 30 days filled with the most incredible and creative artwork done by the brave adventurers who joined the challenge! I had the honor of having artists who partook on last year’s #nonorthvember join us again for another year, and the pleasure of getting to know other incredible artists along the way! Seeing all of the stories, situations, different styles and amazing pieces you came up with was indescribably wonderful - the characters of No North truly came to life thr...

Golden

#nonorthvember Day 29 - Golden

AAH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT - TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY!

It's been such an EPIC journey! The entries are absolutely stunning and bursting with creativity!

For the day before the last day, I bring you something nostalgic. I know, I paint these two a lot without revealing much, but Joe and Amaya are some of my most especial characters from No North.

I did this one while listening to Beirut's Postcards From Italy (that part at 2:00 just agrhjafrhgshge), it makes me so warm with sunlig...

Run Free

#nonorthvember Day 28 - Run Free

EY GUYS!

I'm not gonna lie, drawing Delilah feeling free brings me a special kind of happiness. I'm so addicted to the vastness of clouds and the intense feelings sunsets bring me. I know I sound repetitive, but I mean it, it's hard not to feel overwhelmed by beauty when I look at a big ol' pink cloud. It tastes of freedom!

During these trying times, freedom has reclaimed its high value. It's getting harder to find it. So hold on to yours with all you have!

I'm very excited to hear you...

Dare

#nonorthvember Day 27 - Dare

EY GUYS!

Just 3 days to the end of the challenge?? I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!

So here's Dare for you! And how could I not feature our adventure doggo doing something utterly stupid? Today is his birthday, after all!

Don't forget to check out the two extra panels! xD

I'm really excited to hear your thoughts on this one! Reading your comments absolutely make my day!!

Have a wonderful day ahead!

Don't forget to check out the other daring entries on my Stories tonight! 2021-11-28 02:11:00 +0000 UTC View Post

Clouds

#Nonorthvember Day 26 - Clouds

EY GUYS!

Sometimes painting feels so immersive, its like our canvas has expended into reality! Delilah sure finds her sweet escape in her art, a world that belongs solely to her.

I'm so excited to hear your thoughts on this! Don't forget to check out the other lovely entries for today's prompt! <3

Have an awesome day!!
