Overwhelmed (doodles)

As promised... a few doodles while I'm away on my trip... I wanted to do more than this, but tbh it's just been chaos since I got here. My nephews are more than a handful and between them and the things my mom planned for us to do, there's really not much time to myself. I'm overwhelmed lolololol.

Character Profile - Andrew (Drew) Royal

One more character to add to my profiles list~ this time we've got Drew. Who i think is the more forgotten character of the Periwinkle Blue cast. I spent a LOT of time talking about PB in the previous profile with Luca, so I'll spare you those details here.

The Sun & The Moon (concept art)

I wanted to practice drawing Keplan's bedroom again, since it'll be an important setting in the comic... and also because I know I'm going to regret the architecture of it lol (slanted attic ceiling yaaaay). It's a cozy place though... a little slice of sanctuary even. He may not be able to fit a bed frame in there, but at least he doesn't have to share it with anyone.

Side note-- I really need to figure out exactly what I want to do with the style of this comic. I've been working on sketching the updates, but I haven't committed to do...

Sketches n' cheebs

Here's a little compilation of sketches I've done over the last week or so. Things that didn't quite make it to the "doodle" category, but that I still liked enough to save.

Sometimes, when it comes to holiday inspiration, you have to strike while the iron is hot. I felt a little bit of Christmas cheer and decided to take some time to indulge. December Blog Update!

Hello, Hello everyone~ Just wanted to do a quick blog update since we're already here in December! I'm gonna keep this one kinda short n sweet, cus I got a covid booster yesterday and I'm feeling a little crappy (mostly just achy and coooold. I can't warm up!)

Upping Judas' high blood pressure medication (NSFW doodles)

I've been neglecting spicy Dirt and Bebe drawings for a little while now, and decided to indulge. Sometimes I forget that I have free will and can draw straight couples doing the nasty just as much as the gay ones.

Compare & Contrast

I had a couple comments recently that mentioned how much Harver looked like Kinley and how much Keplan looked like Jaxsen. Someone asked me if I did that intentionally, and another person had asked me if Harver was their child (lol NO).

So I wanted to do a little compare and contrast, both for you guys and for myself. Being a webcomic artist... drawing the SAME characters over and over again-- literally thousands of times-- is difficult, okay. lol. And I realize that I'm not the best at creating unique characters with wildly different ...

Just a little more character design and concept art for Fine By Me! Keplan has a pretty big family (lots of aunts/uncles/cousins) and he's the middle child with two sisters. The oldest is Raquel. She's Keplan's half sister, technically, and she's 25. Keplan is 18, and their youngest sister, Ruby, is only 5! They won't have a big role to play in the comic, but will probably get mentioned at some point. So i figured I'd at least have these drawings to look back on for reference.

Ahhh... So close yet so far, aren't they? All it would take is for Kinley to have spotted a picture of Jaxsen with Judas in his phone camera roll... or for Kinley to have said "My best friend, FLETCH" instead of just "my best friend". November Blog Update!

I don't think I did a blog update for this month yet??? Unusual for me to forget lol, but I suppose that's okay. I didn't have a whole lot to talk about! Sometimes that's nice too...

Chapter 7 - 3

AHHHHHH I had a lot of fun with this update <3 <3 <3 I'm so glad Prince Charmi-- I mean Jaxsen has entered the main stage. He's a lot of fun to write flirty dialogue for! And I know we've never seen this side of Kinley before, since all we know of his "hook ups" in this story have come from a place of major regret and suffering, but it's worth mentioning that he's actually quite good reciprocating. He LIKES this kind of attention-- and he's experienced enough not to just turn into a puddle of mush like Fletch would lol.

Double-Sided (November NSFW)

Kinley has been the star of the last THREE years of November NSFW images, and I didn't realize it until I finished this one lol. 2022 was Kinley/Judas. 2023 was Kinley/Fletch. And now 2024 is Kinley/Jaxsen doing something I don't think I've ever drawn before! A little double-sided toy for the lovers... one of which refuses to top and one who still likes to bottom every once in a while lol. We'll call this ~creative compromise~

I typically take "update day" as a day off from working on comic panels, and allow myself to work on something fun. Today it was a lot of FBM (Fine By Me) panels, as well as this set of doodles. <3 Just some happy Harver & Keplan stuff. I tend to draw Keplan being a gremlin and Harver being annoyed more often than not-- and thats because it's such a big part of their personalities lol. But... there's room for cute stuff too <3
