Seeing how local couples move easily and gracefully to the rhythms of merengue, I decided to try it too. Despite my less-than-perfect dancing skills, I joined them with a smile and had funπ€ In addition to dancing, I also immersed myself in the local culinary traditions. I visit local markets, where I learn about how traditional Dominican dishes are prepared, such as mangu and seafood π I even participated in preparing some of them, and each time it was a unique experience filled with the aromas and flavors of this beautiful islandπ₯°
