36:30 Yes, that was another dimension. And it was purple. Does that suggest anything, maybe from another movie?

Getting ahead of myself, but not really a spoiler: Ms. Marvel's powers were changed for the MCU because the Powers That Be thought what she had in the comics would be too hard/expensive to reproduce on screen in a way that looked good. In the comics, she's able to "embiggen" (her word) individual parts of her body. The stuff you'll see her do here and in "Marvels" is cool, but not at all from the comics.
So she could be kind of like Scott Lang's Giant Man but only with her legs and feet...or lengthen her arms and grow massive fists...or both, but with her torso still pretty much normal size.
Some aspects of Giant Man and some aspects of Reed Richard's Ms. Fantastic, but not really. It's her own thing. (Like in Medieval heraldry a giraffe was called a cameleopard, a creature described as being half camel and half leopard when it's not "half" anything.)

Yes!!! I second this. If you can handle Breaking Bad, Dexter, and The Office, you can take on this too.

Finally getting around to watching this with you. Drawback to dropping on a Thursday, football takes priority. One of the things I loved about this series is learning about a culture that I am not familiar with. There is also a lot of history about India and Pakistan that I never learned about in school too. By the way, you developed a wonderful personality. Its why we love your channel. You wear your heart on your sleeves.

I hope you give Hawkeye and Moon Knight a try. Moon Knight has a lot of mythology which you liked in previous shows. Oscar Issac is amazing in it as well.

You should definitly check out a Comicon, but it's not just for boys, take you daughters too. My wife and her girlfriends are cosplayers and have their fandoms. They go to New York Comicon every year. 11 years and counting. And my wife can't wait for our 2 year old daughter to be old enough to go with them.

Hereās hoping that Amber will continue to mostly set aside the opinions of the āhatersā that seemingly continuously comment that she is āwasting her timeā on movies or shows that they personally donāt like while practically badgering her over & over to watch one particular movie/show that no one else seems to mention or suggest š
Iāll admit I donāt watch every single reaction but the majority I do and have seen a lot that I never thought I would enjoy.
I am thankful to Amber for selecting them and consider the channel an outstanding value.
Good job Amber šš

By the way, I feel the same way about the second Wonder Woman film. Itās not as good as the first one, but I think itās still worth watching. You have to understand, itās a comic book movie. So there are elements that are comic book like. Some people want more realistic stuff. So if you have an open mind, itās not a bad movie. So I think itās worth checking out anyway.

I donāt see how anybody couldnāt love this show. Artistically, itās gorgeous. The acting is on point. All the people are lovable. I never understood the hate for this show.

I loved this series so much because I related to her so much I think a very funny relatable show you could watch is PEN15 on Hulu itās hilarious and takes place in the 2000s itās only 2 seasons and the two main characters are adults playing the younger versions of themselves

She likes it and you say sheās wasting her time? Why be do mean to her? Thatās like saying āOh, pardon me, Maāam, I see youāre really enjoying your meal but Iāve had that before and I didnāt like it. You seem to like it though. You obviously have bad taste. Donāt waste your taste buds on that. Throw it out and also never order this or this or that. Just thought you really deserved my obvious expert opinion.ā

Great series for the history of the partitioning of India into the Hindu India and Muslim Pakistan. I had hoped you would do the Hawkeye series first since its a Christmas story. The tag line on the Disney poster is "This holiday season, the best gifts come with a bow".

Really happy to see you giving this a try. Ms. Marvel is probably the most popular and impactful new hero Marvel has introduced since the birth of Marvel Comics and it's iconic characters from the 1960s. The character has been wonderfully cast - I can't wait to see her bouncing off more of the MCU characters in upcoming movies and shows.

OK, I'm among those who have never seen the show, though certainly had heard of it. It did NOT at all match my preconceived notion of what it was or might be. I have a feeling I was confusing it--somehow--with 'The Wonderful Mrs. Maisel'...which I know NOTHING about. Had no inkling it would center around a young high school (??) girl.
Growing up, one summer I was grounded...two weeks at a time! My mom had forbidden me to go down to the river--was right across the street. Caught me...grounded...back out, back to the river...caught again, repeat!
While I didn't have anything close to your bathing suit/cap story, my mom loved dressing me in plaid and gingham when I was little. My first day of school--1st grade, at least--I refused to go in because my mom dressed me in plaid friggin' pants! Not the same, but still embarrassing. Thinking back on it makes me laugh, though, not cry...so I don't think I had it so rough. I recently bought a blue gingham shirt that I refer to as my 'mom shirt'...in memory of her. Makes me smile, so all's well, right?
I like the way this show is going. The bangle is a cool little thing. I, too, had a feeling it was going to be something special or scorned...depending on who you talk to. I have a feeling that was the whole point. Looking forward to the rest.

I said in another comment that I was going to save these for the weekend, but I couldn't wait. I love this show! I can relate to Kamala because I loved going to comic book conventions as a young adult, and Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) was my favorite hero, too. Of course when I started reading comics, Carol was called Ms. Marvel, but a while back they promoted Carol to Captain Marvel, and introduced Kamala as the new Ms. Marvel. It was an exciting time to be a Marvel Comics fan! This show does Kamala so well, which makes me happy.

I wasnāt expecting you to watch this show, but Iām glad you are. I hope you get a chance to check out Hawkeye too since itās a holiday show. Moon Knight is really good, too.
Amber, I would like you to get to know Iman Vellani from Ontario. This is her first acting role ever. She first heard about the auditions through her aunt.
Iman originally didnāt want to become an actress, but she decided to take a chance and audition since she grew up reading the Ms. Marvel comics. She said she would save up her allowance to buy them from a local shop. In fact, she cosplayed as Ms. Marvel for Halloween a few years ago. She even got her grandma to sew the signature lightning bolt to her costume.
On her last day of senior year, she got a call from casting director Sarah Halley Finn saying she needed her in a video chat. Next thing Iman knew, she was talking with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and the production crew for the show. Kevin himself said it was a unanimous decision.
42:21 by the way, you probably donāt remember but we saw this guy in No Way Home. His name is Agent Cleary, and he was the head of the investigation into Peter Parker and his crew.
